If you’re on an online Fit Pro or you aspire to become one, then I hope you use Facebook as part of your strategy for getting new clients.

Cause there are 2 billion users on Facebook…

2 BILLION people for crying out loud!

Do you think you could find a few clients from that?

The challenge most Fit Pros run into is how to use Facebook to find clients.

Who are they?

What do they look like?

What do they sound like?

Where the hell on Facebook do they hang out at?

Well, you’re in luck because I’m going to give you 3 steps you can take TODAY to find your ideal clients so you can do what you do best — change people’s lives through fitness.

Here’s how it works…

Step One: Write down exactly what your ideal client looks like and sounds like. You see, we get what we focus on, and if you’re not clear on who you want as a client then how can you expect to find them?

It’s like going fishing and having no clue what type of fish you want to catch…

The best way to clarify what your ideal client looks and sounds like is to use what’s called a client profile (I’ll link to our copy – you can use it for free). A client profile lays out every detail you need to clarify to enhance your ability to find and attract your ideal clients.

The best way to create a client profile is to interview a current client you have that you want to replicate. There’s a reason the saying goes, “Birds of a feather flock together.”

You can also just do some good ole fashion research using this thing called “Google”.

I know, I’m a genius! When in doubt, Google it.

Step Two: Use the interests you discover your ideal client has, and influencers they follow, and start following those Facebook pages.

You’ll begin to see the types of conversation they have, which will help you do two important things:

  1. You’ll be able to join those conversations, which will help you develop relationships with potential clients and influencers.
  2. You’ll learn what’s important to the brands and influencers your ideal clients follow, which will help you build a relationship with those brands. Imagine if your ideal clients follow Gym Shark and they shouted you out on Facebook! Don’t you think that could change your business overnight?

Step Three: There’s a crazy thing in Facebook called a “search bar”. That search bar allows you to type in keywords, such as interests your ideal clients has, and even parallel services that your client uses.

You can find Facebook groups to join (which is one of the most underused tools you have as a Fit Pro to grow your audience) and you can join conversations that cover your area of service.

Being able to use Facebook’s database of users makes organic online marketing not fair! This is because Facebook does the heavy lifting for you. Facebook groups make the ability to find exactly who you’re looking for extremely easy.

All that’s left is to do the work and start building relationships.

Now if you’re an online or aspiring online Fit Pro, learn how to add at least 5-10 new clients every month without guesswork or wasting time.
